Dave Garnier—Chewbacca - Well you know why he keeps if you ever witnessed him bowl. Took one of the catches of the tournament last year. The team will be looking toward him for leadership both on and off the ground as he generally likes to take control when there is any group of people gathered. Expect him to drink the bar dry of James Boags and looks set to hit the 100 stubby mark over the 3 days.Certain to lead the late night charge to any watering hole he can get a drink with Chocolate a strong possibility.

Tom Iggulden -  The Streak - Plays cricket for show and streaks for show. High profile media personality in Asia who is always looking for a story, like all journo's never let's the truth get in the way of a good story. Could be time for him to cut loose over the weekend as it is all about to change in a few months. You can't miss him, look for the bloke with not a hair out of place and stylish glasses, always ready to jump in front of the camera and the one looking after Matty B late in the night.

Bryan Carr—Smiling Assassin - CEO & Skipper of this outfit who seems to have his hands full. Usually a man of very few words, not by choice as it is difficult to get a word in when your business partner is Chewbacca Garnier. Makes his Sixes debut and comes off the rich Western Australian cricket production line. Has links to Mike Hussey which he will be happy to talk about, however with his wife Sharon being the link he could be better served by sending her out on the ground. Will be looking toward the Sixes to provide one sporting highlight for the year as his beloved Eagles are giving him nothing.

Judd Hannigan—The Yank - He's not a chucker. This New Yorker has really taken to cricket and tries to hit every ball for six. It's either six or out for Jud who faces up with a baseball stance. Spent time in his youth on the Yankees roster which was not that long ago although his appearance suggests he could have been with the Yankees around the time of Babe Ruth. Chance to chuck both on and off the ground, know to Beijing taxi drivers for his chucking after drinking sessions with his Aussie mates. Watch out for him in the field with his awesome throwing arm his only weapon.

Matt Bahen—Easlesy - Nobody's perfect. Loves sporting tournaments with the boys as it gives him a chance to be himself. Torn between playing for Smarttrans or the Beijing Bombers this year. To the relief of the Bombers he will be playing against them which should give their ears a rest from his batter which will get louder as his beer consumption grows. Find the bloke screaming"Go Pies" and you will find Matty, everyone should pray that Collingwood don't win on the weekend. Got to be the best and only athlete in this squad.

Michael Sainsbury—Lights and music - Can,t play a straight bat. Another journo who just loves a drink and gathering with the boys. Welcome addition to the tournament who could be a surprise packet on the ground. Certain to deliver some of the best sledging during the tournament with his sharp tongue and general knowledge of just about everything. Fitness could be an issue for this former Sydney North Shore allrounder.  Has asked for first aid to be on standby.

Chander Oberei—The Taj - Loves to hook, easily has the best cricket credentials in the squad. The youngest player to ever play senior A Grade cricket in Hong Kong in the 1940's. His return to the game is a major triumph for the tournament, as his sponsorship. Got the frame to carry most of the team, however unsure if he will be able to carry both Chewbacca Garnier and Sainsbury at the same time. Has links to Indian bookmakers and Tournament Officials will be watching for any match fixing evident by any betting plunges from Chewbacca or The Taj.

Robert Early Strawbridge IV—The Marine - Loves pulling one through the covers. This huge man can be heard miles away and you are certain to meet him if you have any food in hand. Should see him diving in the covers or diving under the back of the food tent. First time cricketer who should pick it up quickly as he is sure to have read up on the stats and history of the game in preparation for his all out military style assault on anyone who will listen.
